Ja, das ging schnell, Poly hat gerade mal ein paar Tage gebraucht. Ich gehöre ja auch zum Club der "Anonymen Auf-Firmware-Hoffer" ("Hallo, mein Name ist ravenne und ich habe ein Cybook....."), und ich muss sagen, zusammen lässt sich das alles wirklich viel besser aushalten.

Kleiner Kommentar außer der Reihe: ich hatte vor ein paar Tagen im offiziellen Bookeen-Blog einen Kommentar hinsichtlich der (zeitweisen?) Instabilität des Gerätes hinterlassen. Zusätzlich hatte ich noch die Frage gestellt, ob Bookeen da in der Firmware inzwischen was dran gewerkelt habe.

Nun ist ein anderer Beitrag durch die Moderation gedrungen, meiner wurde witzigerweise noch nicht beantwortet oder auch nur dort eingestellt. Man arbeitet wohl derzeit hart an einer Antwort.

PS Bis jetzt läuft das Gerät wieder stabil.

Bevor es ein Update für das opus gibt, sind aber erst mal die gen3s dran. Bitte hinten anstellen, wir warten nämlich schon ein Jahr. Jetzt dauert es auch bestimmt nicht mehr lange. Im nächsten Jahr ist dann das opus dran.

Nix, die Updates erscheinen zeitgleich. Deshalb erscheinen sie ja gar nicht. Weil Bookeen immer das spätere Datum auswählt. Und das liegt dummerweise in der Zukunft.

Wären wir bei Star Trek, würde ich befürchten, wir befinden uns in einer temporalen Zeitschleife. Und leider kommen wir da ohne ausreichendes Technobabble des Chefingenieurs vor der Werbepause nicht wieder raus!

Vielleicht entwirft Bookeen aber auch gerade die Firmware für den txtr. DAS würde dann alles erklären. Sogar den Untergang von Atlantis ...

Nöö,

es ist jetzt zwischenzeitlich noch ein Mal eingefroren, aber das ist für mich kein Grund, es zu tauschen. Ich hab' mich schon so an das Kleine gewöhnt, hehe.

Wie ich schonmal schrieb, machen PDFs damit keinen wirklichen Spaß, aber da ich eh nur ePubs drauf lese, stört mich das nicht. Letztendlich sind 5 Zoll für sowas auch echt zu klein.

Na, ist doch schön, dass du mit deiner Entscheidung weiterhin zufrieden bist. Ich lieb mein gutes altes Cybook auch nach wie vor.
