How to add my own html page to recipe

I often use ebook-convert.exe (DOS) to fetch enews into mobi format and I want to add the following guide.html into recipe but no way to do it.

guide.html

Code:
<html><body>
<reference type="lot" title="HightLight" onclick="selection.highlight( ) "/>
<reference type="lot" title="Annotate" onclick="selection.annotate( ) "/>
<reference type="lot" title="Lookup" onclick="selection.lookup( ) "/>
</body></html>
The purpose is to let "Highlight, Annotate, Lookup" appear with "first page" from bottom menu.

Another problem is add date to append title
command
ebook-convert.exe abcnews.recipe abcnew <date>.mobi --output-profile kindle
I hope the title appears as "abcnews MM DD YYYY", not just abcnews.

That would require changes to the way MOBI is generated in the conversion pipeline. <reference> tags are ignored by the MOBI output plugin. And you cannot add date to title with the kindle output profile. This is because ont he kindle dates are displayed anyway for news downloads. Change your output profile to something else.

Thanks a lot. Now I see why calibre could not generate <reference>, though mobigen (now kindlegen) could do it through opf file or html file.
I have to compile mobi enews awkwardly.
