Reicht euch ein Laptop?
Da es hier im Forum in letzter Zeit kaum Umfagen gab, starte ich mal eine.
Kommt ihr mit dem Laoptop aus? Reichen euch 13/15" ? Oder muss es doch auch noch ein Desktop Rechner sein? Und ich möchte hier nichts über Betriebssysteme hören!

Ja, mir persönlich reicht ein Laptop. Allerdings inzwischen mit 17'' seit mein 15.4''-Laptop vor nicht allzu langer Zeit meinte, dass er lieber ein Dampfkraftwerk sein wollte und mit viel Qualm und Hitze den Geist aufgab.

Wir haben insgesamt zwei Laptops (1x15.4'' für den älteren Sohn und 1x17'' für mich) sowie einen normalen PC für meine Frau und den jüngeren Sohn aber eigentlich ist es da auch egal ob Laptop oder PC.

Also ich nutze zu Hause meist den Laptop, weil ich damit schön bequem am Sofa surfen kann. Auf Arbeit steht natürlich ein Desktop-PC. Der etwas ältere Linux-Rechner hier wird allerdings kaum mehr gestartet.. wäre aber im Notfall auch noch da

Zu 95% reicht mit der Laptop ... inzwischen ein 12" Subnotebook. Selbst vorher mit dem EeePC (der ja nun nicht gerade vor Performance strotzt) habe ich sicher zu 90% das NetBook genutzt - ist einfach bequemer, aber zur Foto- und Videobearbeitung wurde das auf Dauer doch etwas quälend.
Jetzt ist es oft so, daß ich den Desktop-PC nur anschmeiße, weil ich Daten, Programme o.ä. brauche, die gerade nur dort liegen. Aber er ist halt noch da ...

90% Desktop, wenn ich aber in den Ferien zu Hause bin, oder eine Hausarbeit schreibe, nutz ich lieber mein EEE - der schreibt sich angenehmer. =)

Hier Laptop und Desktop, wobei ich eigentlich locker auf letzteres verzichten könnte, d.h. wenn das gute Gerät irgendwann seinen Geist aufgibt, wird kein Ersatz angeschafft.

Ich mache inzwischen vieles an meinem Laptop (15-Zöller), der Desktoprechner (19-Zöller) kommt eigentlich nur noch zum Einsatz, wenn ich mehr Bildschirmplatz brauche.

Ich hatte auch mal kurzzeitig ein Netbook, aber das war für mich, der den Computer nicht unterwegs nutzt, irgendwie eine Nummer zu klein.... und Battle for Wesnoth wollte wegen der niedrigen Display-Höhe nicht starten... geht gar nicht. Für längere Zugfahrten wäre das aber bestimmt top.

Das mit dem Netbook habe ich auch schon probiert. Aber 10" sind für mich einfach zu klein. (Ebenso die Tastatur) Mittlerweile habe ich auch mein 13" MBP gegen die 15" Variante getauscht. Doch nun bin ich von 27" einfach "versaut". Mein 15" Laptop (das auch alle Aufgaben erfüllt) kommt mir nun zu klein vor. Vielleicht sollte ich doch nochmal eine Woche am Netbook arbeiten.

*Sagte ich schon, dass ich gebratene Hähnchen liebe?
