calibre 0.6.29

I'm using Ubuntu 9.04 and dont have GLIBC 2.10, so I downloaded and extracted 0.6.29 to /opt/calibre.

How do I run calibre from anywhere in the terminal? i.e. I want to be able to just type "calibre" in any terminal and have it launch, rather than having to be in the directory and typing ./calibre.

Thanks
