At the epub2 level, there is no official series metadata tag at all, let alone support for second and third series. As long as you use calibre to manage your library, create another series type column inside calibre and use it for searching and it will all work.

If you are looking for something that can officially support multiple series at the same time in an ereader, find a epub3 ereader that supports the spec. Official epub3 metadata can support multiple series, multiple titles, collections, etc but I have no idea if any ereaders actually make use of it.

With a Kobo Reader, you can specify both series columns to be made into collections. So you can have your book in both series collections.

This may not be the optimal solution, but it's the best solution I know of.

I remember trying to run a W3.1 program on W95c and being told I needed to upgrade my OS The original developers never envisioned Windows above W3 when they did their Level Check.
