Laut Spiegel.de hat Sony wohl Amazon übernommen
Im netzticker von Spiegel.de gibt es folgende interessante Meldung zu lesen:

Ausgerechnet zum langsam anlaufenden Weihnachtsgeschäft verpasst Sony seinen erwartungsvollen Kunden einen Dämpfer. Weil die Zahl der Vorabbestellungen für den E-Book-Reader Kindle wesentlich höher als erwartet ausgefallen ist, könnte es bei der Auslieferung der Geräte zu Verspätungen kommen. Natürlich werde man nach dem Prinzip handeln, so laut "Reuters" ein Sony-Sprecher. Der Versand der Lesegeräte werde am 18. Dezember beginnen und bis zum 8. Januar abgeschlossen sein, dabei gebe es jedoch keinen garantierten Liefertermin. Kurz: Mit großer Wahrscheinlichkeit schafft es der vorbestellte Kindle nicht rechtzeitig unter den Weihnachtsbaum.
Fettschrift von mir. Diese wohl drastische und überfällige, aber doch überraschende Maßnahme dürfte wenigstens dazu führen, dass demnächst auch ePub auf dem Kindle eingeführt wird.

Dafür wird allerdings wohl der Blocksatz abgestellt. Nuja, man kann nicht alles haben ...

Bezeichnend für den derzeitigen Niedergang von Spiegel Online... erschreckend auf was für eine "Qualität" die mittlerweile gefallen sind

Das "silly" bezog sich auf SPON. Inzwischen wurde das also wirklich korrigiert. Tja, normalerweise bringt SPON dann unten einen Hinweis, dass man in einer früheren Version einen Fehler hatte.
Nicht mal dazu lässt man sich hier hinreißen. DAS ist fast noch aussagekräftiger als der Vertipper gestern Abend ...
