Free (nook/Kindle/iTunes/DRM-free) Be Wise: 1 Corinthians [Xtian Bible Commentary]

Be Wise (1 Corinthians): Discern the Difference Between Man's Knowledge and God's Wisdom by Warren W. Wiersbe with a foreword by Ken Baugh is another one in his BE series of bible commentary, this installment covering the titular New Testament epistle, free courtesy of Christian publisher David C. Cook.

We've previously received the accompanying Wiersbe Bible Study handbook cum derived life lessons earlier this year, if you want to check your archives and do a themed readalong or whatever: The Wiersbe Bible Study Series: 1 Corinthians: Discern the Difference Between Man's Knowledge and God's Wisdom

Currently free, probably just for the next couple of days @ B&N (also UK), Amazon (available to Canadians & in the UK), iTunes & Google Play (both available to Canadians), and may also be free via other venues listed on the publisher's web catalogue page. Currently MIA from the catalogue @ ChristianBook (DRM-free ePub available to select countries), which in the past has generally meant that it finally shows up again and goes free on the 2nd day, though YMMV.

Description
The early church in Corinth was falling apart. Sin was rampant, divisions were growing, and the congregation was living no differently than the world around them. What had corrupted this once vibrant church? The apostle Paul immediately understood the symptoms: The people had traded God's perfect wisdom for faulty human knowledge.

Part of Dr. Warren W. Wiersbe's best-selling "BE" commentary series, Be Wise has now been updated with study questions and a new introduction by Ken Baugh. A respected pastor and Bible teacher, Dr. Wiersbe shares a wealth of insights on living wisely.

. . . .
Thanks.

I grab all of these Wiersbe "Be" commentaries (I'm not so keen on the little "bible study" series of his) when I can get them free or cheap. Eventually--maybe about when I'm 150 years old or so--I will have accumulated the whole set. ha

I don't even see this book available at Christianbook as an ebook: http://www.christianbook.com/Christi...search=1&cms=1.

Well, the ebook finally materialized at Christianbook.

The good news (other than the fact that it finally materialized)? It's marked down.

The bad news? It's been marked down only to $1.59, not to zero, as with the other vendors. Want the ePub from Christianbook, anyway? Here's a link.
