I must admit that I'm struggling to see the point of 'My Library' on the Nook UK website. Quite apart from not showing most of my purchases, the ones that it does show don't link to the content itself but instead to the purchase page of the book or magazine - the least likely page that I'd want to navigate to, given that I already own it.
With magazines, there's an 'Issues' button, but it doesn't display which issues I've bought. It also takes me to the purchase page for my already-purchased subscription. Graham |

I think the key is that they still think of themselves as a bookseller - so that the site is more akin to Fictionwise or Waterstones, with a simple account list of purchases linking back to the purchase page - rather than a content provider like Google, where you can read the book directly from the Library.
However, I've realised that even Amazon doesn't link to the cloud reader from the Kindle library page items. They're app-centric too. I've been spoiled by Google. Graham |

I had a book did not show up it was called Arrows Flight by Mercedes Lackey. I turned around called Barnes and Noble. They verified that it should have transferred. They told me that they would forward a request to have it added to my library. I waited a couple of weeks and called back. Each time the told me the request to get it had been sent and I just needed to be patient. I called again on Wednesday and talk to a representative to didn't help me. I ask for the manager. The manager John said that the book had to be converted to epub and I told him that was BS that they have the book available in epub on their website; available for purchase now and that I was not going two get off the phone until I got the book and that I had been waiting more than two months for. After arguing with him several minutes, it was offered that if I would purchase the book he would refund me the purchase price of the book and I would have the book. Then I was able to download the book and read some that night. However when I went to read it the next day it was saying was refunded and that I could no longer access the book and to call bn. I called and talk to a digital specialist who was finally able to reenable to book for me. While waiting I found the credited my cc what they charged it but the order had used $2.81 of a gift card balance that I had. The nice woman in digital services gave me a phone number for the gift card services. The number was only to check gift card balances and activations of gift cards (had to have the gift card #). Finally got to a customer service department. They said they would go ahead and fix it but it'll take a couple days and I still haven't looked to see if it's been fixed. You know it's not worth another half an hour arguing with them for another $2.81 cents if its not. I will not be purchasing from them in the future. This is why the will go under.

Same boat. Actually thought of this just yesterday, not sure why, and tried to log in to B&N to see if my library had appeared as if by magic, but it wouldn't let me log in. Tried again tonight after seeing this post and it's still empty.

Never got mine either. Even though it was an intellectual exercise as I had previously downloaded all my books from Fictionwise, it's hard to imagine a more poorly organised and ineptly executed program of transfer. Classic case study in how not to do customer service.

I've now been told that I'll get mine in the next couple of weeks. Of course, I was told the same thing six months ago...
It reminds me of the joke about the man who finds a ticket from the cobbler's for a pair of shoes his great-grandfather had put in for repair a hundred years before. The shop is still in business, so he goes in to share the find with them. The cobbler looks at the ticket, and says, "they'll be ready on Tuesday." Graham |

Never got the email or books -- but I downloaded each of them as I bought them, and they are all safely backed-up.
Now it's just for fun. |

Sometimes the cloud only brings rain --- I would never trust in it too much. So I prefer lots of storage options for my devices.
