Smile Hi. Expert reader, newbie publisher here.
Hi, everyone. I'm Zach Ricks, and I just found out about this place. I've been reading e-books ever since I could figure out how to make them compatible with my old Sony phone (thank you, Tequila Cat converter!)
Since then I've made the switch to my trusty iPhone, and started a small e-publishing company of my own - Flying Island Press. We just put out our first e-magazine, a sci-fi/fantasy bi-monthly mag we're calling "FlagShip." Because I come from the podcasting scene, we're releasing in both text and audio formats.
Anyway, I am still trying to figure out publishing and marketing to people where they are, and meantime enjoying some great books in both the e- and paper editions.
