My Ebook Adventure
Just a FYI. I've blogged about my continuing experiment with ebooks. Complete with numbers and everything. No spreadsheets, though.
I started about two months ago and have been keeping track of my sales and various methods @ http://arthurslade.blogspot.com/2011...nt-update.html Last edited by Arthur Slade; 04-01-2011 at 01:30 PM. |

Please don't post "abbreviated" URLs - people like to see where they're going when they click a hyperlink. Could you edit your post and replace it with a proper URL, please?
Thanks! |

Have you considered selling your books via your own web page? I gather this will mean adding some additional functionaility to your web site.

There's the new URL, thanks!
I am looking at setting up a "bookstore" on the website. I know that Michael Stackpole has an effective one: http://www.stormwolf.com/ |

Just an update. DUST suddenly started selling this AM and has sold 41 copies in the last few hours. More copies than all of my books sold together last month. Not sure why this has happened.

Of the five, Dust is the one that stands out at postage stamp size. I would probably click on that if I saw it in a genre I was browsing in for something to read. I wouldn't click on any of the others.

Thanks Mr. Ploppy. I appreciate knowing that. The artist, Christopher Steininger, did a wonderful job.
And I discovered why the book suddenly started selling. Pixel of Ink featured it today. Here's a blog about what the "bump" has done http://arthurslade.blogspot.com/2011...kids-list.html Not a bad April Fool's Day. Last edited by Arthur Slade; 04-02-2011 at 01:41 PM. |
