Sound on screen refresh?

Am I the only person who can hear a very faint sort of rattling/sandy noise behind the screen whenever it refreshes? Turning a page, new menu, etc... It's really not loud. It's noticeable however, and my main concern is that it bespeaks some mechanical glitch. My iLiad never does this and never did. (My subsidiary fear is that even so faint, it'll become annoying... but then I'm neurotic.)

Yep. Becoming annoying.

Does anyone else know what I'm talking about? It's completely silent while a page is up, but turn, refresh a page in any way, and there's a faint noise, about a third of a second in total, in two parts, one when the page that was ebbs out, immediately followed with a sort of reversed version when the new screen comes up.

Swear to god I'm not insane.
