Yes, those specs are nice, but the most important question would be: when!

I pressed them a little in a recent email, and they told me they are aiming for Jan / Feb 2010. If that was true it wouldnt be too bad. However, if they dont announce the date before Christmas, then I'd be very skeptical.

I went to the Boekenbeurs (Belgian book fair) today and I asked an Endless Ideas employee when the BeBook 2 would be released. He told me it wouldn't be released in the near future.
There wasn't a show model or prototype available either; only the BeBook 1 and the BeBook Mini.

I am beginning to think this is cause by a screen supply problem. I know the manufacturers are trying to ramp up production but until they do we might not see some of these new e-readers, well not for a while anyway.

I'd rather guess that it's caused by the boom of other new e-readers announced recently. Maybe they are trying to improve BeBook 2 now so that it's still competitive when it's released.
