Once when I was a kid I was looking for my copy of "Hound of the Baskerville's" and I looked all over for it in a box I'd seen it in on the front porch. Nothing. I went back there sometime later to search for something else and there was the book that I hadn't been able to find. Don't know what happened. Maybe the sock fairies borrowed it, didn't like the story, and brought it back.

I'm just trying to figure out how to reverse the order... Hmmm ... Since (whatever) is always found in last place you look, just figure out where the last place is and then make it the first place you look! ... Done! (Patent Pending)
(If Apple can patent "rectangles with rounded corners" I should be able to patent this idea, right?) |

we lost a KIndle for weeks - even had amazon disable it after confirming they cannot tell me when & where it was last online- i really though it had been left away form home somewhere
turned out it had slipped off of a dressing table & fallen down the back then had to phone amazon & convince them to un-disable it |

Hmm, I can't remember when I last "lost" my reader... My tablets, yes, but my current e-ink device? It's either in my hand (I tend to not let go of it...), in my bag, or on my desk (to charge).

I lost my iPad back in 2016, and never found it again. It had no password, so someone could have used it to buy stuff (I even had a $70 credit). But no one ever did.
My current working theory is that I left it on top of the car and then it fell off while I was driving and got smashed. But I honestly don't know what happened to it. (I was a little distracted that day; I had just come back from a trip and learned my dog was in ICU.) |

I never loose my reader. It is always in my hand or right next to me. I even carry it from room to room, in my house. I never know when I might get a few seconds to read.
That being said, I will probably now lose it. If this happens, I am blaming Mobilread. Apache |

You have yourself to blame as you could attach a bluetooth tag to it and be able to find it with your smartphone.

Not me! I like "goin' commando"! The joy I felt in finding my lost, for a week, PW2 was about as good as finding a $20 bill in an old coat pocket! If it was EASY to find, it wouldn't be as much fun to find!
