Free Audiobooks
does anyone have any way to download audiobooks for free? i think audible seems to be the best from when i used it but its just so expensive i cant keep up paying that because of my job and the time of the year

Go to this thread - FREE/BARGAIN — Audiobooks - in the Deals Forum and monitor it on a regular basis. Over time you'll be able to download quite a few free audiobooks.

For starters, look at the opening post and start downloading the free audiobooks currently available. There are well over 100 free titles available. That post is updated on a regular basis.

Also signup for free trial periods that will get you 1 to 2 free audiobooks each. Just be sure to cancel before the trial ends or you'll be charged for the following month.

If your library has access to Overdrive, they offer MP3 audiobooks that can be borrowed for free.

Librivox.org has free audio books that have been read by volunteers. They are public domain books. Many of the readers are professional readers, who do good work.

One of their names is Elizabeth Klett, who has a great voice. I’ve listened to her read some of Jane Austen books.

I’ve no connection with her, just like her reading voice.
