Will iBooks support tags/categories?
Has anyone heard if the iBooks app will support categorizing your bookshelf in any way? I was very interested in getting an iPad for reading in bed and using Stanza but if they have no plans to optimize it for the iPad it doesn't sound like it will have a very good display. I really just wanted to load all my books to the iPad so I would have whichever book I was reading on other readers available to continue but that will be way too unwieldy if there is no way to organize them.

I hope there are tags or something else because the iPad does not seem to support a typical file structure.

From what I read about the iTunes 9.1 update it allows you to arrange your ebooks. I think it is similar to that iPod touch or iPhone arranger feature. You can specify what page / position to put each book.
Although from a demo I saw on the Apple site it looks like it puts a new book you buy in the top left corner of the display "shelves". BOb |

The ibooks description in itunes makes reference to being able to browse by title, author, or category.
Hoping category = collection. |

^That is too bad. Though, since I don't use genres, I guess I could use them as my collection tag. Though I will have to manually set the book order by dragging and droping - which I read you can in ibooks.
