I actually had no problem finding my cookies in Safari (although maually copying them into isilox is a pain.) My question really is "Why do I have to put these in manually?" What is the point of the send/receive cookies option in isilox if not to send and receive cookies?

When you return to this page in your browser, the cookie gives your info back to the site which then serves you the correct page. In iSiloX you have to provide the cookies manually because you can't browse through the pages that give them to you. Lousy explanation, but still... |

Okay. I can accept that. But then why is there a send cookies / receive cookies option in isilox? What difference does it make if isilox cant really send/receive cookies?
Sorry to be so pig-headed. I am just trying to figure out when and why to set those options... Thanks for your patience with me and for all your help. I do have accuweather working now as well. Thanks! |

Cookie seeding
Because once you HAVE the cookies, you might want to be able to pass them to the relevant server AND accept new ones. You just have to give iSiloX enough to get going.

If I have the zip code in the address, why do I need cookies? I can't get either of the above links to work. The second one asks me to input a zip code, and the first one gives me an error and won't work. (I use Plucker, BTW)

More cookies
I'd guess the cookies help with the loading of images - which are not zipcode specific.
As for Plucker, I have not got a clue. |
