How to come back in 2.1.4 with Glo ?
Hi,

Is someone know how to come back in 2.1.4 with Kobo glo ?

Have no problem when it was in 2.1.4... but too much with 2.1.5.
-Very slow when modify the fonts or texts options.
-Text become very blur after the page of the refresh (= only the page who have the refresh is ok).
Now I must use refresh on every page... before, a refresh every 6 pages was ok.
-When I open the read menu, choose a option who open a windows, and close it... the text who was under the window is more dark, bold and blur.
-Very slow when I try to select text for underline.
-Freeze many sec when it change of chapter.
-Freeze or reboot at random...
Have no one of this problem when I was in 2.1.4.

I know how to make a upgrade/downgrade manually... but don't know where to find à 2.1.4 firwamre for Kobo glo (only see for the touch).

If someone can help...

and why not try a factory reset as the Glo came with it in first hand ? (for me it's the reverse, 2.1.5 solve my only concern with the Glo : spontaneous reboots, no more problem with 2.1.5)

The only problem with tryimg to go back to 2.1.4 will be how to avoid the firmware being reupdated when you do the required Kobo setup / registration.

If factory reset, you come back in 2.1.2... not 2.1.4.
And from 2.1.2, only can go in 2.1.5 if update (wifi/kobodesktop).
So, you need the 2.1.4 file to download, for manual upgrade...

-When ask to register, do it with kobo desktop on usb.
-Enter your informations.
-Kobodesktop will download upgrade for your glo.
-Let it do, but not unplug you kobo when done.
-Go in Kobo memory, in .kobo folder, delete the 3 files of the upgrade.
-Then only unplug you kobo.
-You now have à kobo glo in 2.1.2.
After this, if you sync on wifi or connect your kobo via kobo desktop, need to delete upgrade in usb, if downloaded again by the kobo,, before any reboot.
