(Living) Top 100 Free eBooks from Amazon

This is a living list so make sure to check it up regularly since books can drop in and out all the time...

So here's today's (and always) actual list of free Kindle ebooks:

This appears to be US-specific.

I see it in Canada, but from what I've read elsewhere, it seems that not every country gets a split pay/freebie bestseller listing for the Kindle store.

Sorry, I didn't express that very well. The link works for everyone, but most of the books listed as free are actually only free in the US.

Well, the bulk of that list is currently composed of public domain stuff and those self-published books which suddenly went to 0.00 in the Amazon store (at least for US customers) because of the no-price-undercut clause, so at least international people can still pick up many of the titles free via Smashwords and Gutenberg?

Not the optimal solution to avoid disappointment, but better than nothing. And it avoids the Whispernet surcharge for those countries which still have it.
