Okay - after beating my head against a wall, I'm having an issue that might have been answered, but trying to page through 719 pages of info made my eye (lost one ten years ago) blurry.

Column 'Updated' - AO3 supplies this info, but now it seems FFF is defaulting to the day I do the update, not the actual Updated date in the metadata.

Is there something I need to tweak to have the Updated column fall in line with the actual metadata being received?

FFF populates:

• Calibre's standard Date column (aka timestamp) with FFF's Packaged datetime (aka dateCreated), and;
• Calibre 's standard Published column (aka pubdate) with FFF's Published date (aka datePublished).

If you want a column specifically for FFF's Updated (aka dateUpdated) metadata, you need to add a custom column for it. That's one of the custom columns I use, too.

That decision dates back to the prior incarnation of the plugin when it was called FanFictionDownLoader.

(Note that Calibre's Modified column (aka last_modified) is automatically set by Calibre on any change.)

Ya - I have a custom column for that and it USE to populate properly....but I think I 'threw a switch' someplace so that it's not getting the correct data....can you remind me where that is in the INI?

Depends on your setup.

Calibre custom columns can be set from FFF Config > Custom Columns tab, or custom_columns_settings setting in FFF Config > personal.ini, search for that or dateUpdated. Both can be set to only populate the column on 'New' books instead of every update.
