Are searches on custom columns supported?

I have a custom column made with a long text field. When I try to search for words that I know are in this field, I don't get any results.

Does CC support this? Is it the same syntax as Calibre?

Searching on custom comments columns (long text) has apparently never worked because of a bug. I will fix it in the first V5 beta release.

And yes, the syntax is the same as calibre: #colkey:"what to search for"
