I've played it a couple of times and got a 35% off and 20% coupon respectively. I'm playing to win the big stuff too but I know my chances of doing so are slim. I recognize this for what it is: a gimmick to get more users to buy more e-books.

I got 20% off this time. Too low for me to use but it looks like it's a universal code. Only 25% and 35% seem to be personalized.

I bought The Christmas Cradle by Linda Warren with my 35% off coupon. I had no plans to read it anytime soon just trying to finish my collection for the Men of the West series but it turn out the book I was reading last night really had nothing to do with Christmas so I switch to The Christmas Cradle and OMG I could not put it down I read 14 chapters till this morning I made myself go to bed. I think I found a new author.

It worked fine yesterday, but today I get no reaction when I put the puzzle together. How sensitive is this thing to the location on the screen where you assemble the puzzle and to how close together the puzzle pieces are?

There is a blue outline in the background. Place the pieces on it in the right spot and they will snap to position .

Kobo actually fixed my gift card issue - although without even sending me any sort of e-mail in response - it just showed up in my account yesterday!

So I played their little game today and got a 35% off coupon - the larger value coupons ***are*** being given out. Now I just have to find a book I want where 35% is enough to compensate for Kobo's generally quite-high prices.

They even fixed both my problem with logging into my account and sending my Vox reader (which only required several phone calls and emails, including email to a specific person, not the nameless support dept -- who actually canceled my order as their means of "fixing" the order not having shipped).

I'm glad some of you had Kobo fix your issues.

When the puzzle game wouldn't work for me (before I solved the issue myself by using a computer running IE8 instead of IE9), I had e-mailed Kobo about the game not generating any coupon code upon completion. Their response? Check my spam and junk folders for the coupon codes. Um, you doofuses, the code wasn't being generated AT ALL!

I have noticed that it's not just Kobo that seems to to send nonsense responses, it's the first-level responders everywhere--they key on a single word or phrase and shoot off a canned answer that has nothing to do with the query or problem.

Happy to hear it finally got worked out. I heard back from tier 2 support earlier this week. One was helpful the other didn't read the problem and was clueless. The clueless one wanted me to do something in ADE.

I told them it was DRM free so ADE was not an issue.

I replied again and told them the problem fixed itself two weeks ago but seeing there is no longer a way to add anything to your ticket anymore, I didn't know how to let them know seeing I never heard a peep from them till now.

My latest issue is I bought a book and it gave me the kepub instead of the publisher's epub. It looks horrible in Mantano. The book was published this month and is a Harelquin so I guess the ACSM was wrong.

OK, now I have two Vox readers, in different colors.

And, I don't think the special charger (the book specifically says you can't charge it via USB) works at all. At least, not on the one I've opened ... so far.

On the happy side, my credit card doesn't show a charge for either one, yet.
