Hello Everyone.
I'd be grateful if someone could help me 'repair' a news recipe.
I wish I could do it myself but I'm quite lost when it comes to working out how to do a recipe. I'm sorry for the bother.

I'm using Calibre 2.79.1 with Windows 7.

The recipe is from a Japanese news site but I've attached a pic that will help to understand what info is needed. At the moment, the recipe seems to pick up a lot of unnecessary info like twitter links etc.

The recipe is 日経新聞電子版(Free, MAX)

On the pic I've highlighted the two 'sets' of info that are needed by drawing a red line around them. The first is the headline and the second is the body. All the other stuff gets downloaded too (like the Evernote link for eg) but isn't needed.

Here is the net address of the pic I've uploaded
http://www.nikkei.com/article/DGXLAS...10C17A1000000/

Is there any other info that I could give you that might make it easier to repair the recipe?

Thanks in advance for any help. It will be very warmly appreciated.

The first simple thing to try is adding

auto_cleanup = True

to the recipe to see if it removes junk automatically.

Hello Mr Kovid Goyal,

Thank you for the swift reply.

I have no idea what I'm doing but I did 'open' a copy of the recipe and then added the words you indicated right beneath the list of Feeds (see pic). I savd it as a customised recipe but, unfortunately, it didn't work.

The next thing I'm going to do is send an email to the original creator and see if he might help.

Best regards,
Jasper
