While I keep an Off-Site backup in the cloud, that is only after:
Export from Calibre->tar->gpg. No lousy ISP is going to learn what books I keep in my library thank you very much. |

I do incremental backups via FreeFileSync, as exporting my whole library every time I make changes would take far too much time. I couldn't care less about anyone knowing what books I have.

Are there any other nine or 10 inch readers? I should be considering?
I really don't want one that has the scribe/annotation/pen feature never be able to utilise it and it would just be a waste |

You won't find any. They all have such features. There is no basic 10.3" Reader.

So based on this, do you think I would be 100% safe if I just downloaded the e-book from a file sharing website and then use the Amazon send to Kindle function to send the e-book to my Kindle? I am a bit unsure I would be safe as I would be logged into my Amazon account so there would be some form of record, even though I'm not sharing the e-books with anyone just sending it directly to my Kendall |

I agree. For me, I don't care what additional features there are on an ereader as long as the additional features don't get in the way of my reading and don't put the reader out of my price range.
