Horror Show by Greg Kihn is $1.50 at Amazon (full price elsewhere). It was something of a cult classic when it was released. Kihn (he did the song Jeopardy) really loves this stuff and it shows.

And I didn't know he was responsible for two hit songs even though I'm familiar with the name, having had his albums (at one time), and being very familiar with those two songs.

I just never associated him with that horror novel.
