Do you have Joyland?
I was looking at King's newest, Doctor Sleep, a sequel to The Shining, and realized I had completely forgotten about Joyland, which King only released in paperback. I noticed new stories indicating pirated copies had shown up on the net almost immediately.

None of the options work for me. I just haven't gotten around to it.

None of the above. King is fine, I don't have Joyland. Partly because he hasn't released an ebook.

Your poll is very unfairly staggered - according to the available options, one must either possess the book (legally or illegally), or hate King. This is simply not an accurate representation of the purchasing motivations of the majority of people. I think that a simple 'No' would be a considerably more suitable option than hating King ever since Christine.
I'm a fan of King, though not a blind fanatic. Cujo was sub-par, IT was amazing and Christine was average. As for his newer works, Under The Dome is one of my favourite titles, regardless of author or genre. I do own Joyland - I bought it upon release, as I plan on doing with Doctor Sleep. It's okay; it's short, fun and a bit mindless - certainly not as strong as some of his other short stories*, but definitely not terrible. *For, to King, a novella truly is a short story. |

Yes, I like Stephen King and Hard Case Crime, which published Joyland. So I HAD to buy it! And I read it on paperback.

Not a King fan, sorry.
That's how my dad would write it. I've had a bunch of arguments with him where he's asked why I suddenly hate something, when in reality I just don't want to keep doing something that doesn't interest me. |

A simple no would have been my choice. I don't have Joyland. I have some other King in paper and ebook. I'm not a fan that has to have everything he does. If it looks inteesting when I'm looking for something to read.

I did buy the book, and it just kinda-sorta happened that the eBook fell right into the lap of my ereader.

No, I don't have Joyland. I haven't read Stephen King in years and years. Don't care for him much myself. I wouldn't say I hate him, though.
Is it true that most of his books are sold by the pound? |
