I have had them refund to my credit card and I will get a notification withing a couple of hours also. I really like this way to return items.

Glad you folks are talking about this new drop off returns. A few days before you started this I ordered the Wrong thing. Instead of a label to print out I got one of those black & white squares & instructions on drop & go. Well so far it been USELESS! Every time I tried to drop it off I get Bull Crap about the Computer not working. So its still sitting around waiting to go & I am STUCK! Amazon Refuses to give me a Label...grrr BTW ALL the other customer have No Problems sending their packages.

So it looks like I am successfully on "Free KU 3 month Trial" number 3. No wait, I think I might have had to pay a few cents ($0.99?) for the previous trials, I can't remember. Honestly, I would not pay for KU at regular price. There is just not the selection of books that I desire for a paid service. However, if they are going to keep offering KU to me for free or almost free, I'll keep using it during those periods. Why not?

Glad to know it worked. I've done at least three trials in the past and was planning to do this one as well. Usually I use it to get Whispersync pricing on the audiobook versions of some KU titles.

Amazon Workers Plan Prime Day Strike at Minnesota Warehouse

Amazon.com Inc. warehouse workers in Minnesota plan to strike during the online retailer’s summer sales extravaganza, a sign that labor unrest persists even after the company committed to paying all employees at least $15 an hour last year.

Workers at a Shakopee, Minnesota, fulfillment center plan a six-hour work stoppage July 15, the first day of Prime Day. Amazon started the event five years ago, using deep discounts on televisions, toys and clothes to attract and retain Prime members, who pay subscription fees in exchange for free shipping and other perks.

“Amazon is going to be telling one story about itself, which is they can ship a Kindle to your house in one day, isn’t that wonderful,” said William Stolz, one of the Shakopee employees organizing the strike. “We want to take the opportunity to talk about what it takes to make that work happen and put pressure on Amazon to protect us and provide safe, reliable jobs.”

"The fact is Amazon offers already what this outside organization is asking for," the company said in an emailed statement. Amazon provides competitive hourly rates ranging from $16.25 to $20.80, with benefits, "and we invite anyone to see for themselves by taking a tour of the facility" in Shakopee, the company added.

Well got the cell phone case to UPS today. They wrapped it in plastic slapped a label on it & dropped it in this HUGE box with other returns. I asked when Amazon will get it they said .... Hard to tell since that box Does Not get shipped till its Full .... Box been sitting there for a month barely had any thing in it! So guessing the Answer is Never in my life time.

Looks to me like anyone who wants it can be a member for prime day. Amazon is offering a one week trial for $1.99. I've never seen that before. Personally, I've never seen any deals of interest to me on prime day but thought I would mention it as it isn't a banner, you must click "try prime" to see the one week offer.

I Googled "amazon prime free trial" and found they are still offering a 30 day free trial. I was planning on using that if there are any deals that look interesting. Actually, any time I go to Amazon, there is a link in the upper left hand corner to "try prime".

They have a free trial IF YOU QUALIFY. I evidently don't as I had a free trial last holiday season. There appears to be about a year between free trial offers. Anyway, $1.99 offer is there for anyone who doesn't qualify.
