How text is made large enough when reading pdf on mobile phone?
I have got the sample pdf from 1dollarscan, I am reading it on my cell phone, but the text won't get larger than this (1/3 of the already small screen is empty)

What am I doing wrong? I would like to fill more of the phone screen with text.



I have got many paper books I would like to read on my phone, and am looking for the best way. Preferably with FBreader and pdf plugin, like the screenshot is made with.

PDFs use hardcoded layout, and apparently that PDF has ridiculous margins.

You can try using k2pdfopt to reflow the PDF.

The width of a pocket book is about the width of my mobile screen, so really a scanned pocket book should be perfect. Why are there such large margins on many scanned pdf-files? If you know of a good scanning company, then I'd appreciate if you shared.
