Question: Reading manga on Sony readers

Does anybody here read manga on their readers? I ordered a PRS-300 yesterday and while I'll be using it mainly for reading ebooks, I would also love to read mangas on it. I just want to know your experience if you have tried this. Thanks!

Hi Wyclef, what's up?

I own a PRS 700 and I've been using it to read manga and comics for a while now and I have to say that it works pretty good. I can't vouch for the 300 but I'm sure it will handle them just fine.

You have to get yourself a copy of Calibre to convert the .cbr or .cbz into the format of your choice (don't panic, it's easy, Calibre has a big button labeled "Convert book") and off you go.

Cheers

Hey, thanks for your reply. My 300 hasn't arrived yet but I've been assured by ur reply. And thanks also for the software tip. I'll try it out.

Just one more question. When reading mangas, do u see the whole page or do u have the ability to zoom & scroll? If I can't scroll, I think they'd be hard to read on the 5'' screen of 300. Thanks!

Though you can see the whole page what I often do is just zoom and scroll around. Works quite well like that.
