A few years ago the whole family was at a store and my wife or daughter asked me something (I forget what), but my response was something like "I don't have a clue." To which my son (he was probably 3 or 4 at the time) said, "You should see if they sell them here."

So today is Friday, and as I duly noted elsewhere I can't remember where, this day is nicknamed Aloha Friday, but every day can be viewed as a holiday to me, even work days, since I try to avoid labor whenever possible, for the meek inherit the earth but the hardworking get heart attacks, and so if it appears that I am meandering along, please bear with me a moment. What was the question?

Ah, I see where you're coming from now. Thank you for the information on (shoeless Joe). He had a really tough beginning in life. Imagine working from the age 6 or 7 doing 12hr. shifts in a textile mill. No labour laws then offering protection from exploitation. I couldn't imagine not being able to read or write either. What an awful handicap that must have been. The baseball stats. didn't mean anything to me I'm afraid. Don't understand the finer points of the game, my apologies though I do watch it occassionally. It's always on very late over here. Appreciate the info. though. Thanks.
