MicroUSB microSD OTG works?
Does the kindle work with a microSD card? I don't have an OTG but I would like to use it if its possible.

KK (latest fw supported), PW2 (5.9.6), and I also have a PW3.

What is a KK?
Use this table: https://wiki.mobileread.com/wiki/Kindle_Serial_Numbers Note that "latest firmware supported" may not be so since the devices may not always auto-update. If you can't find the serial number, just print the table, hang on wall and throw a dart at it. Anything is better than personal use abbreviations. |

Kindle Keyboard at a wild-eyed guess. Probably a K3 though I've also seen K1, K2 and DX models referred to as Kindle Keyboard. The joys of imprecision.

Wasn't Kindle 3 officially rebranded as "Kindle Keyboard" upon the introduction of Kindle Touch and Kindle "meh" (the Basic model, Kindle 4 silver)?

We have never changed or "rebranded" anything, including the K3
That is why the serial number based nicknames. |

Yes I did mean keyboard.
I noticed that someone had added a controller to their microUSB, so I was thinking of using that port to add functionality to it, like more memory or buttons. |

To somewhat answer my own question: https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sh...195702&page=12
This talks about an internal memory mod, I ordered some wires and I'll see if it works on PW2. |
