Aura ONE kobo aura one touch issue

On my Aura ONE, the touching calibration is off a bit and the spot I touch isn't the spot that reacts. It has been most noticeable in the bottom menu bar that I need to tap to the left side of the buttons to activate them. Selecting a word when reading isn't that accurate either, especially for small words. I wonder if this is a hardware issue of driver issue? Is every aura one device has that issue? I have upgrade to the latest the firmware but the issue seems worse than previous version.

I have the same issue. I believe it is a well-known problem among KA1 devices.
I hope it can be fixed with the next firmware update(I'm on 4.10.11655 atm).

I wrote a program, which will print a message on screen when I touch it. The test result lead to a bad conclusion: the touch panel may have some issue.

I found that about 5mm width area at both left and right edge of screen is untouchable. At first I think it is a hardware broken problem, but considering the touching offset, I think that kobo may know this hardware defect, so they modified the firmware and then we can trigger the button on the edge of screen.

Actually this problem has little influence in nickel, because the margin of operation page is large. But when we use koreader, the margin is small and we often need to touch the edge of screen, like modifying light. And when we use landscape, the offset becomes up and down, which makes it even worse.

Maybe I should start a vote to see how many people have this issue.
