KOReader walthrough/review video?
So I feel like I've been reading about KOReaer for as long as I've been visiting MobileRead.
I've visited the KOReader site and skimmed through the user guide. But what I haven't been able to find is a video just showing KOReader at work. When I've searched, I find lots of 'how to install' videos. But I'd like to see one just showing what it looks like in action. Does KOReader have a home screen? A library view? |

I'm not sure, someone might've done a video on it, but we do have http://koreader.rocks/koreader-user-guide.pdf

Really, I'm surprised one of the blogs like The E-Book Reader hasn't done a video on it. |

The closest I know of is this vid: https://youtu.be/O8Kbj2rZrSY
Not comprehensive, but it gives a general idea. |

It's a shame both videos are fixated on PDFs, and OLD Kobos

True. There should be more videos showing how impressive it really is.
Fortunately, it is in active development and available for many platforms, including desktop Linux, and exactly that was the reason I tried it out on my Linux laptop before jail-breaking an actual reader and installing it. Personally, I’m not a fan of sidecar folders (which it uses), but they can have their uses. I also thought some options were hidden in non-straightforward places in the menus and touch zones, but at least it has the features. |
