Informative article in The Boston Globe on E-Ink, the Cambridge company holding "...a nearly 100 percent share of the screens in the e-reader market."

For their version of an electrophoretic display anyways. Other companies are also working on electrophoretic displays, which I'm certain many consumers will refer to as "eInk" (despite being inaccurate).
