APK Rebuilding
I'm trying to tweak mapdroyd to use the external sdcard instead of the internal one.
I used apktool to unpack it, changed the path references, and repacked it. However, the newly built apk gives the "cannot be installed on this phone" error. Suggestions? |

Did you sign the app after repacking?

Thanks. I think not removing the old one first might have been an issue as well.

If anyone wants the rebuilt app, let me know and I'll toss it up somewhere.
I looked at wikidroyd too, but it appears to be using a system variable to pull the sdcard location instead of having the paths hard coded, and I don't know enough java to know how to change it. |

I'd like a copy of that.

Should be the right one. If not, let me know and I'll regenerate it and re-test. |

Thank you! I wanted that app, but the files not going to the external SD put me off. Most large apps send their files to the SD card on android phone, however the edge calls the internal storage the SD card. I hope they fix this in a future update.
