Convert ePub to Landscape PDF with facing pages

Hi there,

I'd like to convert an ePub book to a PDF file, with a landscape page layout with two facing pages (sort of like a book scan). In the conversion options, I don't see anywhere to indicate landscape page layout for PDF. Is this only achievable through CSS or editing the ePub file directly?

No, I'm afraid not, PDF Output cannot do multiple text pages per physical page.

Thanks for the reply. Maybe it would be possible to split the pages into columns via CSS?

At any rate, is there an option to convert ePub to PDF as landscape?

I dont know what you mean by landscape, but you can simply specify a landscape page size for the PDF in the PDF options section of the conversion dialog.

you can specify the output page size when converting to PDF. You might need to use the ‘custom size’ option as I think portrait modes are built into the drop down list of sizes. Perhaps you should be requesting that a ‘landscape’ checkbox be added so that you can use any of the built-in sizes in landscape mode rather than portrait mode.

Aha. Yes, this would probably be easier to understand. At any rate, I was able to convert to landscape Letter size by typing this into the custom area:

11x8.5
