That ROM image from my MP2100 works great under the Mac OS X version of the emulator.
If the source were available I'd be more than happy to port it! But ROM's would be about as problematical as the TI calculators. Unlike with the TI calculator, where I was facing needing to spend $130 + VAT for a calculator I had no use for so I could suck its ROM to continue porting, I had previously sucked my MP2100. |

Here is the .2 re-pack for x48 as well.
It is .1 with the manifest.xml and PNG added. Enjoy. |

You could buy a busted one on eBay, write my name on it, store it away, and send me the ROM from your working TI83. :-) The code was compiled and development halted when it begged for a ROM image. |

The process looks pretty simple, they have a USB tool that you put on the calculator and it allows the ROM to be transfered via USB to your PC. Links available upon request.
You would be "holding" the license for my development ROM by storing away the broken TI83. Of course if you would rather buy a used working one or a brand new one, its your money. I figured buying a broken one made the most sense. It would also be wonderful if I could count on you for a step by step guide and support for users needing to suck their ROMs. To send me the ROM file I'd prefer if you would upload it to http://rapidshare.de (not rapidshare.com) and PM me the download link. Depending on load, you'd likely have your working port in less than a week. |

Thanks, Scotty Is it possible to have GNU Chess like that. I would like it more in a window with a close box. Now I do not know how to close it. And what about FBShot, how to use it? Henk |

Thanks Henk, I appreciate your feedback!
I've updated my packaging of Design256's gnuchess port. Its his port, all I did was package it. You'll have to contact him for enhancements/support. I've opened a FBShot discussion thread. |

Yes, you need the developer pack, then you can use it on CF/main memory. |
