Or an Enid Blyton sanitisation

One use for list search and replace (selectively) is to correct commonly confused/misused words - effect/affect, there/their/they're, accept/except/impact. I also use list search and replace in translate and/or transcribe jobs.

But I would not do any of those jobs using an EPUB editor.

I have several off the shelf tools for MS Word that do list S&R en-masse and/or selectively - TransTools, KuTools, ePubTools, and Word itself via its Autocorrect feature.

I know you were making a joke @BetterRed but as I don't agree with censorship I would never sanitise an author's work.
My project involves epub files so I'm using the Calibre editor. Lomkiri's function works well for my puposes.
Thanks for your input.

Personally speaking, when I was a young and wanted to read stories about prosperous, middle class, white anglo-saxon, priviledged children who, not only had holidays, but had wonderful adventure holidays, I always enjoyed the Famous Five books more than the Secret Seven.
Possibly the 5 having an uncle called, incredibly, 'Quentin' might have made the difference for me.

However I think this may be a topic for another forum never mind another thread.

We cannot reduce Enid Blyton to her prejudices alone

Some library editions have trigger warnings, if you want originals you have to ask for the copies under the counter.

I had to use TOR so I could read the Telegraph link. Too many of those geolimited links popping up now.
