(PW) Space Issue

So....I've got 47 novels and short stories on my Paperwhite. And 1.2GB left of the 2GB....what the hell?

I should say these are all azw3, and are roughly between 500k and 5MB, more so on the 1.2-2.5 MB side.

The 2 GB is the total* size of the Kindle MMC memory, including system partitions etc. What you see when you plug the Kindle to your computer is only the user partition, which is 1.3 GB. So 1.2 GB free sounds about right.

*aka: "what we will advertise, even if the user can never use all of it".

Yeah I hear yeah, I forgot about that part.

I'm just used to having the extra space with the SD Card coming from the Nook Side. I gotta get used to not having that if I'm with Kindle.
