Wow, I'm coming to this really late! I have a book I "sent to Kindle" that, when I last opened it, advanced 100 pages further than I actually am. I can't reset the furthest page read. This script looks great but still doesn't work...6.5 years later. Any ideas other than deleting the book from the Kindle and resending it?

There is a solution. Read past the furthest read the Kindles thinks you are at.
