Conversion CBR to EPUB - colors gone
Good afternoon
 If I convert a CBR file (with color images) to an EPUB file, it converts the cover in color, but all other pages in black and white. Used settings in the convert dialog: Input: Colors: 256 What am I doing wrong.

Have you got the "Disable conversion of images to Black and White" set under the Comic conversion options?

But where is the option to turn grayscale off? I have Calbibre 0.8.62 and have been looking for it for over an hour and cant find it

Preferences, Input Options, select Comic Input in the left pane, then make sure there is a check mark for the 2nd listing in the right pane.
