Wireless router configuration for PRS-950

I'm installing a D-Link N150 wireless router and the installation has prompted me for a network security strength. It gives me the following three options:

WPA - Most secure
WEP - Secure
No security

I would naturally choose WPA but I want to know if the PRS-950 would be "compatible" with such a protocol. WPA is supposed to use more processing power, so will it affect the performance of the 950? Also, I don't feel like entering a password in every time I use the Reader.

It can handle WEP, WPA and WPA2 with no problems that I've been able to notice. Also, once you have a wireless "hotspot" setup on your 950 it permanently stores it (unless you delete it) so that in the future if you have your wifi on it automatically will connect. It's great, I have mine, the coffee shop below my place and a couple other places stored on it and when I turn wifi on it connects automatically with no fuss.

The installation also has the option to "Optimize channel bandwidth for greater speed" but I'm not exactly sure what it does. Do you have any idea?
