Is this likely an SD Card issue?

Looking at buying a second-hand Vision 6, and don't mind doing some repair work. However, the screen seems to be stuck on this image and unlikely it will continue to boot. Is this worth attempting to rescue/replace the SIM card?

(Hope I have successfully shared the photo!)

TIA

I bought two faulty devices, I suppose in the same place where you found them.
I reported about it here:

If you buy, do not take any recovery steps, you can make it even worse. Immediately remove the SD card and clone it.

Later I got my hands on two more devices, which were a little more difficult to recover, I mean the image from the faulty SD card, but it worked out too.
If you still need an image, write to me in PM.

I also bought one from this seller a few days ago. Mine appeared to have nothing on the screen in the listing, but manipulating the image in GIMP I could see a faint impression of the home screen and 'Ausschalten' button/dialog so I was reasonably confident the screen was ok, and that it had been powered down normally.

It arrived yesterday; I decided to check it would charge first and it booted right up, just very slowly with numerous warnings once booted about processes taking too long to respond, i.e. SD card was readable but failing.

Extracted, cloned and replaced the card and it seems to be working fine now. Only issues so far are, I think, normal for this device: creaky case back and a squishy power button.

The same seller still has a couple available.
