Thing #1 and Thing #2 are known collectively as "The Spawn". They are the offspring of MR Members 5thWiggle (aka The Benevolent Evil Lord) and 5thWiggleWife (sometimes known as Gingerwoman - don't ask; long story)

I had no idea! I rarely visit that thread since I won, ages ago!

I'm thrilled to hear that the spawn are interested in science, the main purpose of which is, of course, blowing things up! Whenever they are entrusted with Bunsen burners please let me know -- I know all sorts of ways to have fun with Bunsen burners!

Seriously, my thanks to Thing #1! I love it!

One of my CIFs (Creepy Internet Friends) at another forum showed my avatar from that forum (a two-headed baby red eared slider) to her son. Last I heard he was still laughing at the idea of a two-headed turtle..

Oh! I've been wondering about the hand-drawn/colored avatars. They are so nice!

I don't know what the Last Post thread is, but I have been wondering if there was a theme going on with the avatars. Thanks for sharing and clearing that up!

I have to say that the more I look at my avatar the more I like it. Kudos to thing one and thing two for all their creative talents. It is much appreciated. I will also apologize for any toys and or family pets I may have inadvertently stepped on this past year.
