Mistake in Windows 7.11 version number
The version number for the Windows version shows as 7.10.0 instead of 7.11.0.

Either you got a cached download or Calibre was not fully shutdown (a worker hung).

Odd. I looked at the installer I downloaded from Kovid's site at 20:31 on 2024-May-23 and from the digital signature, it was created at 19:10:53 on 2024-May-23. All times in PDT for what help that is.

Did you re-download and reinstall? Just reinstall? Do a restart of your computer?

The installer was not a problem. It was indeed 7.11. What was the problem was that when you clicked the Windows link, it showed the version to be 7.10. It was not updated to show 7.11.

Now it's updated and shows as 7.11.
