smtp error

Calibre can't seem to talk to my SMTP server. Setup is identical to Thunderbird and Outlook, but SMTP objects: 535 Incorrect authentication data

A call to my ISP was not helpful.
System is Windows 10, Calibre is 5.22.1 64bit, if any of that helps.
Encryption is SSL.

There's nothing we can do to help you. Your smtp server is refusing your user name and/or password. Either they are incorret or you need to enable one of the TLS/SSL options. I suggest you setup a free gmx or hotmail account and use that instead, there are one click buttons for configuring them int he calibre email preferences.
