Calibre not sending

Hi
I have come off holiday and tried to download books from my computer using Calibre then sending to Ipad via Itunes and getting this message

'NoneType' object has no attribute 'InProgress'

Traceback (most recent call last):
File "site-packages\calibre\gui2\device.py", line 88, in run
File "site-packages\calibre\gui2\device.py", line 592, in _upload_books
File "site-packages\calibre\devices\apple\driver.py", line 1223, in upload_books
File "site-packages\calibre\devices\apple\driver.py", line 1476, in _add_new_copy
File "site-packages\calibre\devices\apple\driver.py", line 1408, in _add_library_book
AttributeError: 'NoneType' object has no attribute 'InProgress'

Try to send via email and get
Failed then book name and email address

Can anyone help please. Have reloaded both Calibre and Itunes (Ipad showing as device) but no joy

IIRC Apple removed all linkage between ibooks and itunes ina recent update. So now you cannot use the connect to itunes method anymore. You will have to use one of the wireless conenction methods instead.
