Just upgrade the firmware

I upgraded it to the latest (beta) firmware but it didn't change anything.

Finally I decided to try to let the battery discharge completely (not too long when it is looking for a wi-fi constantly) and it worked. I was then able to reset to factory default (which was not possible before the battery was empty), re-register my kindle, look for active wi-fi and connect

It seems I have the same problem with my K3 Wifi, I can see Wifi MAC Address but when I choose view to see Wifi Networks (in Settings page), the status is just scanning ... and no wifi networks are listed although there are many wifi networks are available and can connect them easily by phone and laptop.

Could it be a hardware problem ? I already updated to latest firmware 3.0.3

Please help

I have the same problem, recently Amazon send me the new firmware 3.1 (i have 3.0.3) and i stop the process (because i have a Jailbreaked K3 wifi and this day i didnt know what would happen).

Since this failed update i have my K3 with mac address unvailable, i cant connect to wifi and i cant upgrade manually the firmware (got U007 error). I cant uninstall the jailbreak. (same error, U007)

I tried hard reset my device and drain the battery but doesnt work

Help please!, What can i do?
