libprs500 installation on Ubuntu 7.10

I did all the steps, but there is no libprs500 on my computer:
1.
I connect the reader to usb

I add myself to the plugdev group (as root)
gpasswd -a username plugdev

But when I test my installation by:

marko@kuhinjski1:~$ prs500 info
bash: prs500: command not found
marko@kuhinjski1:~$ libprs500
bash: libprs500: command not found

What is the problem?

You need to do these steps:

sudo easy_install -U TTFQuery libprs500
sudo libprs500_postinstall

Also.. you need to install converlit manually, which means compiling from source.
