Cover bei PEP eBooks

Hallo zusammen,

ich war eigentlich der Meinung, dass wir mal ein Thread zum Thema fehlende Cover hatten, finde ihn aber nicht. Daher mache ich einen neuen auf.

Ich hatte mir die Tage 2 neue eBooks von Heyne (PEP / Randomhouse) gekauft und mich "beschwert", dass auch aktuelle Neuerscheinungen noch immer kein Cover haben (außer einer entsprechenden Textseite).

Mit hat eine sehr nette Dame geantwortet. Als PEP 2001 angefangen hat, eBooks zu produzieren, hatte sich die Frage nach Cover wohl noch nicht gestellt, weil die Geräte von der Leistung her das wohl nicht konnten. Aktuell - gerade mit Blick auf die kommenden Farb-Displays - sollen die Rechte für die Cover allerdings mitgekauft werden. Vorhandene Ausgaben werden aber nicht mit Cover nachgepflegt.

BTW - die Dame kann das selbst nachvollziehen - wertet Sie doch ihre eigenen eBooks selbst auch manuell mit den entsprechenden Covern auf...

Dies wollte ich euch nicht vorenthalten.

Ach du liebe Zeit! Das Rocket eBook konnte Cover, und seit 2001 jeder Organizer mit Farbdisplay. Selbst viele der Geräte mit SW-Display. Also, manchmal ...

Ein Schelm, wer arges dabei denkt. War aber auch das Erste, an dasich denken musste.
