Ebook für Physik Student

Servus Mobileread Forum!

Seit mein M92 von Onyx kaputt ist, suche ich einen Nachfolger.
Ich war zwar recht zufrieden mit dem Gerät, allerdings fand ich die Bedienung mit dem kleinen Stift etwas schwerfällig.

Ich brauche den Reader vor allem für die Uni.
Also überwiegend PDFs im Textbuchformat (ca. A5 würde ich schätzen) aber halt auch wissenschaftliche Paper (A4).
Was wichtig wäre, ist die Funktion schnelll auf eine gewünschte Seite vom Inhaltsverzeichnis zu gelangen ohne das ganze Buch durchblättern zu müssen.
In das Dokument zu schreiben fand ich zwar ganz nett beim M92, wäre für mich allerdings keine Kaufentscheidung.
Auch bei der Größe des Bildschirms wäre ich flexibel, solange auch die A4 Sachen ordentlich lesbar dargestellt werden, ohne endlos zoomen zu müssen.
Hab mir beispielsweise den Tolino Shine schonmal angesehen, fand ich im Prinzip ganz schön, aber aufgrund der fehlenden Seitenauswahlfkt. gleich verworfen.

Könnt ihr mir vll noch einen Tipp geben, welche Geräte noch in Frage kommen würden oder wann und ob ein Nachfolger des M92 oder ein vergleichbares neues Gerät auf den Markt kommt.
Wie sinnvoll wäre das Warten?

Habe bspw. für die Kindle Sachen nirgends verlässliche Informationen gefunden bisher wie kompatibel die Geräte mit PDFs sind.
Der Stiftung Warentest Artikel zu EBooks war leider auch ein Reinfall.

ich kann dir nur sehr bedingt weiterhelfen. Dein Beitrag ist unter eBOOKS daher sehen ihn die technisch Versierteren u.U. nicht... vielleicht verschiebt ihn noch jemand in die richtige Kategorie.

Sehr ausführliche Tests zu den gängigsten eReadern gibt es übrigens auf
allesebook.de. Mir haben die Tests bei der Kaufentscheidung sehr geholfen.

vielleicht magst ja einmal das Pocketbook 903 (oder 912) hinsichtlich Eignung für Deine Zwecke prüfen.

Vorteile (aus meiner Sicht): Großes Display, für A4 normalerweise kein Problem (sofern keine allzu filigranen Zeichnungen drin sind und Farbe keine große Rolle spielt); eine sehr große Anzahl unterstützter Formate; sehr viele eigene Einstellmöglichkeiten; die Firma stellt tatsächlich Firmware-Updates zur Verfügung; Unterstützung für Micro-SD-Karten; wer will, kann sogar eine SIM-Karte einfüttern und surfen (auf Grund des trägen Graustufen-Displays natürlich nur eingeschränkt sinnvoll)

Nachteil (aus meiner Sicht): Das Display ist nicht "hinter Glas", also empfindlicher, als man es von heutigen vergleichbaren Geräten her kennt.

Ich habe auch eine Tolino. Das Seiten-Suchen geht ganz einfach: die Mitte der Seite antasten und dann kommt unten ein Feld mit einem ziehbaren Balken, auf dem du die gewünschte Seite anwählen kannst. Einfach das Quadrat auf dem Balken nach rechts schieben.
